{"id":25091,"date":"2023-09-02T15:55:46","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T22:55:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/parabnormalradio.com\/?p=25091"},"modified":"2024-12-27T18:33:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-28T02:33:42","slug":"calvin-parker-passes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/parabnormalradio.com\/2023\/09\/02\/calvin-parker-passes\/","title":{"rendered":"Pascagoula River Alien Abductee Calvin Parker Passes Away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<em>As a tribute to Calvin and his family, we present more than two hours of conversations that we were honored to have with him and his friends in 2018 and 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>PARABNORMAL NEWS &#8212; Calvin Parker, who along with his co-worker Charles Hickson, reported they were taken by extraterrestrial beings into a craft and examined while fishing on the Pascagoula River\u00a0in Mississippi on October 11th, 1973, has passed away.<\/p>\n<p>Parker was 68 and died on August 24th following a bout with cancer.<\/p>\n<p>His family announced his death on September 2nd through researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/philip.mantle.9\/posts\/pfbid0e6YU6yx2GRu5PAHHTUB1JfbwkMckebWpCbzLAPkHU7S3HdbpjuCV22CDQXQ7nYEgl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Philip Mantle<\/a>, who along with Calvin&#8217;s wife, Waynette, encouraged him to come forward five years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Mantle published and authored books about Calvin&#8217;s story through <a href=\"http:\/\/flyingdiskpress.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flying Disk Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He posted the following on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Calvin Parker has passed away. I&#8217;m very sad to say that Calvin Parker passed away on August 24th at home surrounded by his loved ones. A private memorial service was held earlier today. It was the song written about his story that introduced us to the musicians who would forever change the image of our show that we were honored to have Calvin appear on twice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Calvin Parker was our inspiration for the song &#8216;Black Water, Blue Moon&#8217;.
