PARABNORMAL NEWS — A data scientist looked at the numbers of bears and bigfoot sightings in parts of North America over the years and suggests there’s a correlation.
Floe Foxon with Pinney Associates broke down the U.S. and Canada into states or provinces, factored in human population, forest cover along with the presence of other wildlife. He charted areas of bear density populations on a map.
The study is published in bioRxiv, the preprint server for biology.
He says he found many Bigfoot sightings in these clusters, more so than places with little or no bears.
Have people really been mistaking a large, hairy creature resembling a human for more than 100 years? It’s a fascinating thought, but it doesn’t factor in the documented differences between the two species.
