PARABNORMAL NEWS — India makes history, putting its Chandrayaan-3 lander on the Moon. It touched down softly near the moon’s south pole on Wednesday around 8:33 am Eastern.
They’re the fourth county to pull off a lunar landing behind the United States, former Soviet Union and China.
The Indian Space Research Organisation posted images of the moon’s surface captured during the lander’s descent.

The country’s first attempt in 2019 failed when a software glitch caused Chandrayaan-2 to crash into the moon.
The landing comes just days after Russia struck out on its first attempt to land on the moon in nearly 50 years when the Luna-25 lander crashed into the lunar surface.
