PARABNORMAL NEWS — NASA is convening a meeting of its Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Independent Study team this Wednesday.
“Understanding the data we have surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena is critical to helping us draw scientific conclusions about what is happening in our skies. Data is the language of scientists and makes the unexplainable, explainable,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of the Science Mission Directorate.
The team is leading a nine-month study to examine the subject scientifically and create a plan to advance our understanding. The agency says it could shed light on the nature and origin of UAP, but it will not be reviewing or assessing previous unidentifiable observations.
The meeting is set to run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.
A report on the team’s efforts is expected this summer.
